hello,
im looking to purchase a bicycle trainer which makes a mountain bike stationary, but yet still gives resistance. im looking for one in the price range of 40 – 65 dollars (including shipping), it doesnt need to be new, ill accept used.
thank you
That’s a pretty tight budget for a trainer. Your best bet at that price is Craig’s List. I don’t think you’ll have any luck with eBay because of the shipping costs.

There were several of these up for auction on eBay. Shipping was included, and the price seemed low, but still above your budget.
If you do find something, you may want to consider a smooth rear tire to minimize noise.

A friend of mine made himself a roller trainer for less that 40 bucks. I’m not that shure about stationary there is a lot of welding in them.. Look for info on google how to make a roller trainer..

I bought a Bell for $80 with free shipping. Look on the local ebay or Craig’s list for a used one. You will want to change the rear tire to a slick.
