Not much to this one. The Dragon’s Den is finished, and a little leveling goes down on the side while I wipe the floor with the miserable trainers who litter my path. Xatu starts to see a glimmer of the levels where it should be, Feraligatr continues to beat down anything in its way and Growlithe still hasn’t evolved, thanks to a lazy kid who won’t call me about a damned Fire Stone.
The music this time is of the Japanese composer, Yasunori Mitsuda, mainly famous for crafting the soundtracks to Chrono Trigger and its sequel, Chrono Cross.

Homeworld Playthrough – Mission 01 – Kharak System
Mission 01
Kharak System
Construction of the Mothership has finally been completed. The Mothership is now ready to undock with the Scaffold in orbit of Kharak, and then test its various command functions. Once completed, the Mothership will then be able to initiate its first hyperspace test.
Strategies:
Alright, so you’ve now begun to play Homeworld. This level is the first level of the game so it’s pretty easy. No enemies to fight here, just follow Fleet Intelligence’s orders to the letter and you’ll be fine. This is more of a training exercise anyway.
However, when you’ve completed all the trials, don’t initiate hyperspace right away. First, make sure all resources have been collected and then retire all of your Scouts (they’re pretty useless after this mission). Make sure you have Fighter Chasis and Corvette Drive research complete and build Interceptors (I made 10 in this video). Once you do this, then you can enter hyperspace.

Homeworld 2 Walkthrough: Mission 1
I decided to kick off a Homeworld 2 playthrough, inspired by the popularity of the Homeworld: Cataclysm video’s.
Heres mission 1. It’s hardly even worth uploading, it’s more a training mission to make sure that you can play the game, even if you skipped the tutorials.
I’d like to comment that the quality of subsequent videos should be far improved. This was the first result from Camtasia that I was happy with, though I’ve found some nicer settings now. I may go and rerecord this later.
