But let’s look at your logic for a bit. Let’s assume all that you say is true, and they’re holding SC2 and D3 because they want to make money off WoW. I have one question. Why would they be doing that?

What’s gonna happen if they release the game in a year? The exact same thing, people would stop playing WoW and play SC and Diablo. What’s gonna happen if they release it now? The same thing that would happen if they released it next year.

Your assumptions make no sense.

But let’s look a bit at those 2 games. Diablo will cost 60 bucks for sure and Starcraft about 30 since it’s split into 3.

By releasing those 2 games, they’d be making more money than they would be doing with WoW.

People won’t be addicted to Starcraft and Diablo. Heck, a lot of WoW players won’t even buy Starcraft or Diablo. You need to understand the mentality of a WoW player. He will still log on to level or to raid. It gives them a sense of accomplishment if they reach a certain level or down a certain boss. They won’t cancel their subscription.

yea but their characters dont expire like daiblo2. i know people who havent played wow in like 4 months, because they chose not to buy the time card or w/e.

Diablo 3 was announced 7 YEARS after the release if Diablo 2 and it’s expansion. Totally to early to announce a new sequel.

Wow, you really are dumb.

Listen carefully: The game will cost 60 bucks. One month of subscription costs either 15 bucks, 12 bucks or 10 bucks.

They will be making A LOT more money off you if you buy Diablo than if you play WoW for 6 months.

WoW is getting …
WoW is getting close to 14 million subscribers.

Do you honestly, HONESTLY, believe that Blizzard is going to lose money by making those WoW subscribers not pay $15 a month but pay $60 for a game? $60 is almost 3 months worth of subscription to WoW.

They won’t be losing money in any way, shape or form if they release Diablo 3.
