Would physical education be the right major for me if I wanted to be a personal trainer?

I have a campus tour scheduled at the University of Toledo soon and need to choose a major to look into that day.. I want to be a personal trainer at a gym or something. . . . is this right ?

physical education would be a good major. another major that would be good also is physical therapy/kinesiology. you end up taking several p.e classes anyways.

Yes, it seems like it, unless you want to go all out & get into sports medicine, with an MD, or sports rehab, as a physical therapist…
