Don’t be ashamed. You are doing nothing wrong. You’re trying to make a life for yourself. Don’t worry, you’ll get a job eventually.

Like what she said up above. You are doing what you can to make a better man out of yourself. So why should you be ashamed?

It’s Ok to be white and broke man. You don’t have to pretend to be black. Start by being yourself.

Don’t be ashamed because unemployment is not a crime. Forget the stereotypes – those are someone else’s creation. You are honestly trying to get back on your feet and you should be proud that you think like that – so many people don’t. Good luck.

half of my problems are from trying not to fulfill a stereotype and worrying about being stereotyped because I happen to be a living human being who make mistakes. I have to both be careful and be gentle with myself.
Your 20, you are a kid. I know the temptation to feel like your a big man now , because you hit the 20. But you are still a kid. You need time to adjust to life.
Congratulations, once you enter the "real world" you realize its nothing like what ppl say. Good intentions dint always get you what you want. Working hard and having a degree with not get you a great corner office and a page in a great magazine. It alot of humdrum, but fun humdrum if your dedicated enough and find your passion.
There are so many idea’s I have about racism and stereotypes, I too am 20 and am trying to deal with the world of racism I’m encountering differently for the first time. Just "take your work seriously and take yourself lightly". That means be easy on yourself. Stay confident. Stay strong. Stay focused.

      hoped that helped!
