      Wild animals can …
Wild animals can never be tamed and will always be wild. You cannot blame an animal for their instincts.

      its no wonder this …
      its no wonder this happens
this is what happens when u forcibly put animals in captivity
i would lash out if someone did that to me

    5. CMeilach Says:

      they should stop …
they should stop this completely! it’s unnatural and unfair…..honestly if i was a 6 ton animal that was supposed to be living in an ocean and instead confined to a large pool I’d attack someone too!

    6. iGotThemBitches Says:

if we we’re ment to …
if we we’re ment to play with whales we would have fins in our back & tails in our ass

@moietmavieana “The killer whale is actually a sort of… dolphin” what are you talking about? you do realise whale and dolphin are just words we invented right? wtf difference does it make what you call it, it is what it is if scientists decided to make a new classification between whales and dolphins tomorow it wouldn’t change a thing

      @motion2000 I heard …
@motion2000 I heard on the news that her ponytail was swinging from side to side really quickly, and that they think it caused a negative reaction in the whale. I agree with you though, no matter what happened it’s an unfortunate accident.. but these animals have instincts, and they can only be pushed down for so long…

    13. lightswitchdrummer Says:

      the whales in sea …
the whales in sea world and up places like this cant keep their dorsal fins up because the stress affects the stiffness of the fin

    14. motion2000 Says:

      The whale more then …
The whale more then likely did not want to attack her. It was probably just playing with her. But unfortunatly people were not built to play with whales. If a killer whale wanted to attack , or eat a person.. They would lose alot more then a shoe. Its a very unfortunate accident. But like others have said, wild animals are not meant to be captive, and used for our entertainment..

      i cant understand …
i cant understand why they do such things with these animals. its against their nature, and they are so poor, of course similar things must happen -.-
      stupid humans

    16. moietmavieana Says:

      The killer whale is …
The killer whale is actually a sort of… dolphin… The name comes from the fact that he kills whales… originally the name was whale killers, but with time, people started calling them killer whales… still, they are dolphins and not whales… But we all agree these animals should not be used for shows…

    17. moietmavieana Says:

      No that’s not why …
No that’s not why they are called that. Killer whales are actually the largest kind of DOLPHINS. They are not whales… The name was originally whale killers cause these animals are known to attack and kill whales (so much bigger than them). The name changed with time to killer whales… But remember, they are dolphins… Still, these are all wild animals that should not be in capitivity…

    18. moietmavieana Says:

      What shocks me is …
What shocks me is that I’m on Seaworld’s website now and they don’t mention this at ALL!!! I would expect at least smth like- we are sorry for all this, shows are cancelled or smth… We send our love to the family, will make sure this doesn’t happen… But there is …NOTHING!!!!

    19. thelegendarymotmot Says:

      Well they are …
Well they are called umm… Killer whales for a reason and if your going to work with them then you should be aware that you could be taking your last breath as you enter the water with the beast! duh! Beautiful or not………

    23. GreenEyesSee Says:

      How would humans …
How would humans feel if monkeys put them in a tiny cage and tried to train them to do silly tricks. Orcas are more intelligent than humans. The only advantage humans have is HANDS that can subdue any creature. Sea World is a cruel place for an awesome creature such as the Orca. I say set all whales free, that way this will not happen ever again…They simply will not be provoked…
