id rather the lessons off the pilot

  3. I just graduated a …
I just graduated a 9 month school to be a personal fitness trainer. And will be taking the NSCA here soon. I did not want to take some crappy weekend course. Even with all I know. It’s just a tiny percent. That’s why it’s a life long endeavour. And the NSCA requires it’smembers to constantly take classes and courses to stay fresh and updated. I owe it to the people I will soon be training for real.

hahaha, the argument sounds like the ufc tuff show when matt serra told marc lemon that he got a lot to say about fighting when he doesnt fight, ‘ your like an expert swimmer that never got in a pool’

  9. majority of people …
majority of people want trainers for weight loss. Musculature is irrelevant, it’s knowledge and general fitness. I’m a trainer who’s an ectomorph with mostly slow twitch fibres so I have difficulty getting bulky, does that mean I can’t train someone who has fast twitch fibres and teach them to get lean? Of course I can. But the guy who’s already muscular wanting more probably doesn’t need a trainer since hes already well on his way. at all.

    I’d rather have …
I’d rather have real life practicle experience.

  11. but would u rather …
but would u rather take an advise from a person who has thousands of flight hours or the person who has designed the plane and knows everything about it the person who has actually built it and know how every single aspect of it works. :)

    Yes, I certainly do …
Yes, I certainly do. But I would want to learn from somebody who has done it. It’s like reading a book about flying and airplane OR actually flying an airplane. Who would you rather take advice from?

  13. ..its like saying a …
..its like saying a mechanic who builds nice expensive cars dont necessarily have to have a good car himself……its like you dont have to become a drug addict in order to tell people what the drugs will do to you if u get addicted…you know what i mean?

  14. Yes, personal …
Yes, personal trainers should always focus on continuing education. Learn more to earn more. Marketing, and sales too study should also be incorporated.

    You don’t even have …
You don’t even have to “pass some test” to call yourself a personal trainer in this country! But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some great ones out there, you just have to know how to find them!

    yeah man, that’s …
yeah man, that’s exactly I,m parroting to people…The same with doctors. Dont go to a doctor who has dirty nails, bad breath, look fat, smell like ashtray and their mouth is full of amalgam fillings..Plus ask them to name 3 foods which helps with HBP or diabetes. If the doctor wont give you the answer in a blink of an eye, well, you fire him too.

  17. What is your …
What is your certification? And what is that certification number?

I agree with you to an extent. I grew up playing basketball and every coach ive ever had was fat. They used to run the out of us. Make us work out etc while their fat was was coaching us on.

I dont remember what Video ..but im sure i said “Preach” because of the video and not because of an users comment,to which his comment was disgusting.

    Peace.

  21. Dude, he is …
Dude, he is incredibly lean! Just b/c he’s not a skinny little boy doesn’t mean he’s not lean… check out his other vids – he’s got one with his shirt off to demonstrate that he walks the talk. He’s got a six pack abs, and is very defined. He just has more muscles than you, that’s all.

    Good points, nice …
Good points, nice vid, but like cardioworks said: “you have to get in the water to learn how to swim”.

  23. I agree somewhat,u …
I agree somewhat,u have 2 get in the water 2 learn how 2 swim.
I have been training and competing at a high level since i was at childhood,i took my personal training certificates and it was with a very reputable certificated body,it was like going 2 kindergarden, the other people in the class had literally just jumped straight in and were going out into the industry with very little hands on experience….Scary..

  24. he didnt say he was …
he didnt say he was lean, he said if YOU want to be lean, and your trainer isnt lean, PERHAPS you should find a new trainer. He could be a power lifter, or he could be in a weight gain stage, or an off season. any one with any knowledge about this can easily see he has the build and mass to have proper lifting know-how, I am sure he knows about toning just as much as any one.

  25. ok then you go find …
ok then you go find a strong trainer… if thats what matters for you… and in america it can be a very difficult test depending on where you get certed from
